Weekend Getaway

This last weekend we went down to Vegas! It was a short trip but well worth it. The Boys went to Nascar and the girls went shopping! I love H&M!  We also walked the strip, and went to the Bass pro shop. I wish I would have taken more pictures, I only got a few.

This was at the Bass Pro shop. They had a huge aquarium and this girl/Mermaid would swim with the fish. How cool would that be for someone to say what do you do for a living? oh im a mermaid!

Love

I love being in Love! This year for Valentines Day I told Jason not to get me anything because we are going to Vegas in a few weeks and I want to be able to buy something there. He didnt listen, he got me some beautiful Flowers and some Perfume. I love them! Saturday Jason went Shooting with his brothers. I am glad he went because this is something that he loves but doesnt get to do very often. That night we went and ate some Chinese food, and then went to Ty and Cap's to watch a movie. Sunday I cooked Jason Dinner. It turned out pretty good, minus the fact that the Chicken was a little burnt! We spent the day playing the Wii and then watched Couples retreat. Monday Jason had to work, so me and My sister went to my parents house. My mom offered to watch my sisters kids so we could go to a movie. We went and saw Dear John I didnt love it but I did like it and would watch it again! The movie got out just in time to watch the Batchelor! I just dont get what the fuss is about Vienna, I would like her to be sent home! I guess we will see what happens!

Mr. and Mrs. Smedley!

We are so happy for Ross and Hillary! They got married in the Salt Lake Temple. This was the first sealing I have been to besides my own. The spirit was so strong and it made me look back on our wedding day! I cant believe we have been married 6 months! After the temple  it was off to the luncheon (yummy food!) After the luncheon they had a ring ceremony and then a reception. Avery was the flower girl and I would help her throw the flowers and she would stop to pick them up she wanted them in her basket not on the ground!  They had a very busy day and everything turned out perfect!! We are so excited for them to finally be married!!

Shout out to the little Bro! I dont know of anyone who loves the game more then him, I mean check out his face! He is up early Practicing up late practicing and still manges to get a 3.7 GPA and have a social life! How he does it I have no clue! Me and Jason have enjoyed going to his games this year! They have lost the last couple but only by a basket or two, there so intense and we have fun watching them! Lets hope they have a win tonight!

Christmas Fun

For Christmas Eve we went to my Parents. We went Bowling (I won!) then ate at Chilies. After dinner we exchanged gifts and hung out. We were very spoiled and appreciate everything our families did for us! My parents and Brother took off for Palm Springs on Christmas day for Austin's Basketball. We sure did miss them!

On Christmas Morning we woke up at 6:30 and exchanged gifs with each other. There are no pictures because it was way to early to function.  Jason got me some shoes, jeans and a purse. I loved all of them!! I got Jason some clothes and a Wii. Im not a big video game person, but I will be the first to admit I love super Mario brothers on the wii! My parents gave us that game for Christmas. After we opened our presents and got ready we headed over to the Erickson's. We exchanged gifts and had a yummy breakfast. We hung out there most of Christmas day and then headed over to My sisters for dinner and to see what santa brought Avery. 

























We had a wonderful Christmas and loved spending time with our families. We are so grateful for our Savior and for our amazing families.

Temple Square

We were lucky enough go see the lights twice this year. We went with Jasons family and then my Family minus my Dad who had to work, and Austin who had Basketball! It was freezing but well worth it. The Temple looks so pretty surrounded by all the lights. We had so much fun!

Christmas Bingo!!!

Every Year my family gets together and we play bingo! Each Bingo you get you get to draw a paper and there is a prize on it. The prizes are all very different from a movie, candy, to 50.00! The first person to get Black out gets 100.00!! Kathryn Marie always gets Black out every year, Hopefully next year its our lucky year! My dad is always the bingo caller! Its a fun Tradition that we all look forward to every year. Thanks to Chelsea for having it at her house and for my parents and their great prizes.. Here are some random pictures from the night
