Christmas Fun

For Christmas Eve we went to my Parents. We went Bowling (I won!) then ate at Chilies. After dinner we exchanged gifts and hung out. We were very spoiled and appreciate everything our families did for us! My parents and Brother took off for Palm Springs on Christmas day for Austin's Basketball. We sure did miss them!

On Christmas Morning we woke up at 6:30 and exchanged gifs with each other. There are no pictures because it was way to early to function.  Jason got me some shoes, jeans and a purse. I loved all of them!! I got Jason some clothes and a Wii. Im not a big video game person, but I will be the first to admit I love super Mario brothers on the wii! My parents gave us that game for Christmas. After we opened our presents and got ready we headed over to the Erickson's. We exchanged gifts and had a yummy breakfast. We hung out there most of Christmas day and then headed over to My sisters for dinner and to see what santa brought Avery.

We had a wonderful Christmas and loved spending time with our families. We are so grateful for our Savior and for our amazing families.

Its Christmas time

Temple Square
We were lucky enough go see the lights twice this year. We went with Jasons family and then my Family minus my Dad who had to work, and Austin who had Basketball! It was freezing but well worth it. The Temple looks so pretty surrounded by all the lights. We had so much fun!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we went to My parents house down In Alpine. It was just my parents, my brother, and me and Jason. The food was fantastic and we got to take home left over’s. After eating a great meal we Played a game of canasta boys vs. girls... The girls won of course! Then it was off to rest while Jason and Austin Played Call of Duty, I just don’t get what the big deal is about this game but boys seem to love it! Later that night we went and saw Blindside, I recommend this movie it was so good, and made me realize how lucky I am. I love the holiday season! I love the spirit about it, the shopping, the giving, the smell, hot chocolate, Egg nog, family and friend time, Christmas shows, the lights, and I could go on and on... I am so lucky to have such an amazing family and to have married into the Erickson family love them!, I am also so thankful for such an amazing Husband who is definitely a better person then me, He seems to make me laugh daily even if I am in a bad mood!

Friday Me and my mom headed out in to the mad crowds for some shopping! I can’t believe how many people are out shopping! All in all it was a wonderful Holiday weekend and I am looking forward to this next Month!

Girls Weekend!

I love a good girls weekend! Friday me and my sister headed down to my parents house, we went to My Brothers High School Basketball banquet and watched the game. Then we stayed up late making cute necklaces. Saturday morning we woke up Bright and early and went to a bunch of little shops. I was able to find a Picture of the SLC Temple that I have always wanted but I could actually afford this one. My sister got lots of cute Bows for Avery and the new baby. Then we went to the mall to do some shopping. It was nice to get some more christmas shopping done. After shopping we went to see NEW MOON! We got there and the line was already Huge, so we got in the back of the line hoping that we would not get the front row and that we would all be able to sit by eachother. As were standing In line this family of 6 butts in front of us as there talking to the family in front of us he says "maybe we will just cut in line with you" ugh wrong!!.. Line butting is not cool especially for New Moon! By this time the line had gotten even longer and there were lots of people in front of us and behind us, so I decided I would say something to this line butter! I said oh no you might want to get in the back of the line look how long its getting.. He looked at me (mind you this guy is in his 40's) shrugged his shoulders and said ehhh..... I then proceed to tell him that I dont think its cool that he butted everyone! I may have over reacted but thats just because we were seeing New Moon!! He didnt move to the back of the line, but luckily we were able to all sit by eachother! I loved the movie and cant wait to go see it again!

Good bye Diet Coke!

I must say I am addicted to Diet Coke. There is something about the first sip of Diet Coke that I just love (my mouth is watering for it as I type this!) Jason bet me that I could not go 1 month without a Diet Coke... So the Bet started on 10-19. So far so good I will win this Bet! Even though Jason temps me daily by sending me pictures of Diet Coke, or taking my diet coke out of the fridge and rubbing it in my face I have managed to stay strong! The winner of this bet gets some Cash to spend on whatever they want! I am really looking forward to some new Jeans :) Wish me luck!!

The Big 24!!

Thanks to everyone for such a great Birthday!! Sunday we went to my parents house for a yummy dinner! Jason had made a cake to bring along, so after dinner we ate that and it was way good! I could never make a cake like that and this is the second year he has made it for me(with the help of his brother Ty) Jason sure did spoil me and managed to surprise me! I usually try and figure every thing out before hand so i have no surprises but he got me this year! Tuesday I woke up to Breakfast in bed, some super cute shoes, and a Jacket all from Jason. Love them!! Later that day I went to lunch with Brooke. After lunch I did some shopping with my mom and my sister joined us later. When I got home There were some flowers, balloons a card and a piece of paper that said Go Fish on the counter!! I was on the phone so Ididn't really notice the paper that said Go fish.. I looked up and next to the balloon was a huge spider web (or at least that's what i thought it was) as i pulled it to get it down i noticed that it was moving my kitchen chair.. I was really confused at this point when i looked at the Go fish Paper again. On the paper was a card with fishing line on it. I began to follow the fishing line. Jason did not want to make this easy on me at all he strung it through every room through my closet through the shower curtain etc. It took me probably 20-30 minutes to find the end of the fishing line which ended up being in our outside storage unit! In the bag was $150 1 dollar bills each wrapped separately! I was super excited and surprised! Then Jason came home with dinner and my favorite ice cream from Nelsons. I wanted to stay home that night because I am obsessed with the biggest loser and had to watch It! Tonight we are going to dinner with his cute family I cant wait! I had a wonderful Birthday and am so glad my husband is so thoughtful and creative. I love him!

Brad Paisley

I came home from work one day and sitting on the counter were my cow boy boots with tissue paper hanging out. Jason had bought me a Brad Paisley ticket for my Birthday and put it in my boot with a note. I was so excited because I absolutely love Brad Paisley! It was a way good concert and I had a lot of fun! I will definitely go to another one of his concerts! My sister in law was kind enough to let me tag along with her and her friends. Thanks Jason!!
